So I forgot to tell you guys! At my local Starbucks there is a BARISTA - He is so FINE! I know he is Asian and he wears earrings, jewelry, his hair is always cool colors - today it was Silver! Aw, his EYES are gorgeous! Me thinks I need to go there more OFTEN! hahahahahahahah!

Speaking of a guy giving a gal a pair of shoes reminded me of the scene in A Gentlemanās Dignity when the ML gave the FL a pair of pretty shoe and told her that when she was ready, to put those shoes on and come to him. I thought that was such a dreamily romantic scene. Awwwwā¦

So Seriously Someone gets SLAPPED in a DRAMA and the guy is so TRAUMATIZED that he makes sure to get her the best plastic surgeons and doctors to look at her because he is so worried! Hospital trips must be expensive they go for a hang-nailā¦

Anyone listen to the Coldplay X BTS collab song āMy Universeā?
I thought it was OK but was kind of surprised at how electronic sounding it was since Coldplay is considered a rock band. I couldnāt really tell if Coldplay was playing their own instruments on the song-everything sounded very synth pop. Only thing for sure was Chris Martinās vocals. Otherwise each member of BTS got a verse to sing/rap (sentence really) in Korean. Translations not available on the Official Lyrics Video which was disappointing since supposedly the song is about āopposites coming together/one worldā. You would think they would make CC available in several languages.
Cynically, I canāt help feeling this collab has some ulterior motives behind it. I know BTS are genuine fans of Coldplay and have been for years, and of course you would jump at the chance to work with your heroes, but stillā¦
Obviously for Coldplay itās a chance to keep current and get some of that ARMY money after their last album in 2019 was a complete flop sales wise. Itās hard to believe but itās been 20 years since Coldplay debut album, so they need ways to connect with the younger people/new audience. It will be interesting to see how this new album fares since I think ARMY will just buy the single.
For BTS I think the Grammy award is on their mind. Not sure if Coldplay are Grammy darlings but they do have lots of nominations (along with Producer Max Martin) including Album of the Year nomination for 2020. Working with Coldplay could give them a strong chance for Grammy award for Best Collaboration. They donāt have to worry about singing in English and being understood clearly since Coldplay does all the work there.
