My 4 childhood favorites are in this  article, Big Turk, Crispy Crunch, Mr Big, & Coffee Crisp, the first three are too sweet for me now.
10 Chocolate Bars You'll Only Find in Canada-Candy District

If I want something sweet Iā€™m most likely to get a Snickers
My favorite Ritter Sport is Peppermint
My favorite is probably Cadbury Toffee, but I buy Cadbury Premium Dark because I can eat just a couple squares where Iā€™ll eat half the Toffee one. I also love Toblerone,

I donā€™t think Iā€™m capable of answering this simple question with 1 candy bar. lol

Yea! Itā€™s a hottie alright! :firecracker: :fire_extinguisher: :fire: :fire::fire: :fire_engine: :fire: :fire: :firecracker: :fire_extinguisher:

I have this exact stuff in my fridge. I put it in stir fry, beef stew, bacalhau stew, good on squid, chicken whatever, anything really but NOT lamb. I did not like it in combination with lamb so no on that combo.

Is there beer-flavored candy north of the border?

Bacalhau is one of them there Danish dishes, ainā€™t it?

My Puerto Rican friends have bacalao as part of their cuisine, but Iā€™ve never had it. Give me, however, lots of arroz con gandules!

And always give me flan. Always!

Ah, You like Borenque rice! Alright!

You can keep the flan thoughā€¦ Blagh! leche!!

Bacalhau is the Portuguese name for cod. The cuisine is similar to what youā€™d find in Puerto Rico.

You can get it fresh but it is usually dried in salt. You have to soak it all day or longer with many changes of water to get the salt out and rehydrate it. Then you cook it in stews or serve with onions, etc. Lots of recipes out there.

Here you go. Comece a cozinhar.

Itā€™s nearly impossible for me to pick a favorite, but I guess Snickers has always been a go-to, but now they have Almond Snickers, which is even better. I always consider Toblerone a luxury and only get it once in a while. It makes me feel fancy. :joy: For road trips, I always get a Watchamacallit. Itā€™s probably actually my favorite, but regular grocery stores donā€™t carry it; I can only get it at gas stations/mini marts.

A number of years ago, I got a bag of . . . guacamole-flavored Lays potato chips out of a vending machine. What a waste of money.

When REAL guacamole is so readily available these days, what is the point of eating chips that taste like . . . green cardboard?

(And when non-GMO purple corn chips are available in big bags at stores that sell actual healthy food, what is the point of guacamole chips exactly?

Bacon-flavored chips. No. Have bacon. If someone is a vegetarian or vegan, carrot bacon is actually very tasty, and is a real, nourishing food.

Bacon candy (and beer candy) I could happily try. Because itā€™s candy being silly, not fake food being pretentious.

Regarding national anthems, why of course you are deeply biased.

Are you on the Atlantic side of the largest incorporated US territory or the Pacific side?

If on the Atlantic side, you undoubtedly have heard of . . . The Celtic Faire at the Genesee Country Museum in Mumford, NY. Not held recently obvs.

Not sure what will be their status come summer of 2021, but they are awesome. The marching. The pipe and drum competition. The tartans. The caber toss. The stone put. The hammer throw. The manly legs.

To me, they are absolutely awesome. And the teams that gather each summer from the Toronto area and from the Rochester area are all amazing.

But you know, itā€™s the Americans . . . who won that silly old Revolution . . . and who kinda did a few amazing things in that French and Indian War . . .

I think they kinda have a little more historical street cred, flag-wise and otherwise.

I will graciously concede that (as a Southern-born American citizen), my largely Scotch-Irish motherā€™s family would not have been around to raise hogs and be on the right side of the civil rights movement if (during what Momma jokingly called ā€œThe Late Unpleasantnessā€) the British Empire and its constituent parts had not bet on Jefferson Davis.

And who does coffee better than Tim Hortonā€™s? Zero-body.

Besides, I know there are McKlveens, my own people, living in the largest unincorporated American territory, so I do have a fondness for that funny looking flag . . .
