I am a user who does not use Google and therefore does not have an account but also does not want to create an account because I do not agree with the user and privacy conditions of Google.
However, if I want to submit a request to request a film in my region, I am forced by Viki to a Google form and have to log in there. Yes, that is not possible. I would appreciate it if a user could submit his request in such an independent way, such as via e-mail and not via Google forms.
I always used to fill the form as Viki user, but a week ago it asked for google mail, just why is Viki changing that? Im not using google to log in on Viki…

Updates: I appears it happened because I was logged in my gmail, I believe it wasn’t like this before or it just didn’t occur 'cos I wasn’t logged in…
You can fill in the Google form to request a show without logging in.
Or do you mean this?
Here, you can just choose “continue with email” and log in the regular way.
I admit, it still sucks as it’s an unnecessary extra step, but it works.
Since I was logged in on my gmail and accessing the Viki google form, it automatically required my gmail address which never happened before. So it must be in the setting of that google form or I just wasn’t logged in when filling the form. I filled out the form when I logged off out of gmail and it didn’t require the email address…
Oh well I just have to look out for being logged off…
The form does not ask for an email address. I just requested a drama without being connected to my Google account. If you see that you are connected, that’s a Google-related feature to save the progress of filling the form for later in case you didn’t send the form. It has nothing to do with the Viki form, so there will be no email sent to Viki.
In prior years when it showed, it was gone a few days later. Only one time it was really persistant. Hope it will vanish soon for you.
I did use it too some days ago, had no problems, but it could have been before maintenance, maybe that caused it too come back again.
