I’m a huge Lord of the Rings fan too! Even though I’m not particularly fond of spiders, that scene doesn’t really bother me. I just love the whole universe too much.
If you’ve seen Harry Potter, there’s also that scene with the giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest. That one can be pretty creepy too!
I selected the Otter cabin: currently working indoors at 31°C due to a malfunctioning AC, which makes me wish to swim in cold waters… and my objective is Summit, but there aren’t many projects available for Italian volunteers right now.
You don’t need to sign up for a cabin for your contribution points to count in this Challenge, but you will need to sign up for a cabin if you’re like to receive a cabin badge after you earn 100 contribution points during the challenge timeframe!

Such an interesting story behind these recipes, @maria_lavendula_77 I’m excited to try them! Hoping they will be easier than this midsommer cake I just attempted to make!
@porkypine and @base_b_149 - the otters in your pics are irresistible!
i went to the aquarium in Seattle Washington a week ago and learned that river otters swim belly down, while sea otters usually swim and rest on their backs!
That is a classic at most homes in Sweden during summer (we love our Swedish strawberries and think they taste more than the imported). I don’t think it’s hard to make but then again traditional things that we make many times tend to be easy. Soon it’s time for blueberries and thanks to our laws we can go to any forest and pick them for free.
And I have to admit I’m very curious, what cake did you have for midsummer?
I used to say my dad was an otter because he’d lie on the couch and have a little pile of snacks on his chest and eat them like an otter floating in the kelp
