I have been watching Phantom Lawyer week by week since it started, and I cannot tell you how much I have loved every single episode. Viki segmenters and subbers have done such a great job conveying the heart and soul of the story.
(I saw one episode on N–flix while I was waiting for new episodes of Phantom Lawyer to be available, and the segmenting and subbing were just so lackluster.)
Thank you for doing such an amazing job . . . and for making me cry almost as much as some of the characters cried.
These were presubs made by professional subbers. Volunteers only edit where needed. The Channel Manager was appointed just last week (I know, very very late!) and the team must have just started work, there’s no way they have finished the whole show.
True, we are only on EP 1 and dealing with pre-subs for 14 languages. It takes a lot of time to fix. The timing is decent. But it seems about every other segment contains a broken sentence that needs to be patched together. It will take a long time to repair, but it is fine to watch if you can deal with half-sentences.
