Before all this Asian craze with your teen dramas and your pop idols, Beverly Hills 90210 was IT!! For me personally, this happened to be my first experience with “gorgeous people in a school environment.” Even in Europe, it was huge. Of course, the loss of Luke Perry has affected me deeply. He was only 52. May he rest in peace.

I won’t lie and say, that I was a huge fan but it influenced me back in the days.
It just never leaves me unaffected hearing of deaths from people that somehow influenced my life.
I had a crush on him since 90210. really enjoyed watching him in many shows, and so young to pass! 2 years older than my son. really ages one . and as you know this lady is a bit older than you guys. RIP luke!

My daughter screamed so loud when I told her that he died. I ran to the room to check on her. I knew he was dead the moment they didn’t give any updates about his improvement. He was in an induced coma and i told my daughter I don’t think he’s alive.
I knew something was wrong bc he looked very sick and on his last interview his words were like saying goodbye, and that he was enjoying the time he had left with his children whom he adored. Another Argentinian Mexican actress died from a stroke she was only 59 years old.
Ironically just a few days ago an 89 year old man suffered a heart attack and is already out of the Hospital. I tell my daughter I find very strange that actors/singers are dying way too young this days.
May he rest in peace and may the Lord give his family resignation and strength during this trying time.
It’s such a huge loss… All these things that you see in Kdramas like running away and giving back-hugs… Beverly Hills 90210 did it first. Luke Perry did it first.
In an interview he said, “I want to do something with my life, you know. When my time here is up, I don’t want to look back and see that I didn’t do anything, you know, and by that, I mean I didn’t have any effect on anything else. I see a lot of people who let their life happen to them, and I want to happen to my life.”
I think it’s safe to say that he was able to accomplish his dream, but he didn’t just happen to his own life. He happened to all of our lives. He will be missed terribly.

You know one thing I’m sure, heaven got one more Angel up there. He was truly a kind, gentle soul. I saw the show more for the nasty black hair girl, Shannon Doherty. I liked her meanness. Sadly, she’s also struggling with cancer but thankfully looks like she’s doing better now.
I am only 17 (I was not even born when the show ended) But I loved it. When I was about 13-14 I found the show 90210 on netflix. I searched on google and found out it was a spin-off of beverly hills 90210. Thankfully it was on Hulu and I watched all of it then watched 90210. I was really shocked when my friend told me that he died. I initially thought that my friend was spoiling the show for me when she said " Did you hear? Archie’s dad died" (He played Archie Andrews’ dad on the show Riverdale ). Imagine the shock when she said He really died in real life. All the best to his loved ones.
