Ah… That was my suspicion. But my drop-down list does not have the last option - build poll - that your screenshot shows. Wonder if it’s due to different versions of Discourse or something else… :laughing: :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Like you, I don’t see the Build Poll option. It is hidden by the footer. I always have to expand the reply area to see it.
Try moving your mouse over the element circled in red.

Ah… I never thought the message box was expandable. That element is a slider. I dragged it upwards and now I see the “build poll” option. :grinning:
