I loved Leo’s role in NIF
Glad to see he’s going to be in NIF3. Hope it’ll be a good one

Sometimes I watch a drama just for the cast even if it’s boring. What about you?
- Watch a boring drama with your favorite actor?
- Watch a great drama with an actor you don’t like?

I can even wait for a whole drama to finish b4 start watching it so why is it a problem to wait for few days?
i really don’t understand when viewers give a bad reviews bcoz the subs aren’t ready yet, i mean if there is a drama that’s been aired Saturday/Sunday, what will happen to the world if they waited to watch till Thursday???
I totally get that. Me just sitting here waiting for entire dramas to air for the sole purpose of finding out if they have a happy ending… Hahaha! No, but seriously, it’s not like there’s a shortage of things to watch. I literally have a never-ending list of dramas that I want to see at some point that’s already too big for me to finish any time soon, possibly not even in this life-time (Excuse me, I plan to come back as a ghost to finish watching my dramas and reading my books. ). Things have gotten so fast paced nowadays and impatience seems to be norm, which is really not a good tendency, in my opinion. Everything has to be fast, fast, fast and sometimes people seem to think that if it’s fast, then it’s effective and of quality. But not all that’s fast is good and a lot of times quality, real quality, in general for any number of things, can only be reached by time and patience. It’s not a coincidence that a lot of masterpieces took years to be completed.
(It’s kind of late where I am, so this reply got a bit philosophical there, but I still stand by my point. )
Oooh, I am surprised at these results (Will me replying to me give a notification that I got a reply? I guess I’m about to find out! ). I really thought historical and xianxia would be in the lead here since when I was still new to C-Drama I was told that the period pieces was what C-Drama was actually famous for.
“waiting for entire dramas to air for the sole purpose of finding out if they have a happy ending”
well, that’s a very great reason to wait because i do exactly that lol.
i just can’t invest in a drama just for the leads to die or whatever, i need to know that they’ll have a happy ending , either than that, youtube shorts are there to give me an idea about what’s going on while waiting
" I was told that the period pieces was what C-Drama was actually famous for"
I guess maybe because it’s too much, i mean too much fights, bloods , conspiracies & too little romance with a huge numbers of episodes.
of course i’m not saying all of them are like that
Exactly!!! Same here!!! I cannot watch 16 episodes (or 30+ when it’s C-Drama) just to see these leads die or not end up together for whatever reason. Like… I feel cheated. I spent so much of my time watching a romance (the point of which is for these characters to get together) just for them to not get together, the exact opposite of what I want. No, thank you. In high school, I went to see “The Fault in Our Stars” with my friends and the whole theater was mad at me that I wasn’t crying. I wasn’t crying because I was mad. I wanted these leads to get together, but noooooooo, we couldn’t have that.
you know what, i’m the type to go check the synopsis of a movie b4 complete watching it , i also check the reviews (the bad 1st) for the dramas i’m interested in to decide if it’s worth watching or not, i’m so weird like that
Oooh, yes, I’ve noticed that too. They stub their toe and spit blood. Come on, guys, seriously? Hahaha! But all jokes aside, I quite like historical and xianxia, but I can’t watch too many of them and sometimes I need a good ol’ modern romcom as a break. For example, everyone was raving about “Love Like the Galaxy” and I did like it up to a point and I do appreciate it, because I think it is well-done, but for my tastes, there was too much violence and blood. Plus I guess it depends on taste too, because as you said, I also don’t really like all the conspiracies and political intrigue storylines. Maybe once in a while, but not always. I like the romance and character development parts a lot more. But unlike me, I have a friend who especially likes the conspiracies and palace intrigue stuff. To each their own, but I guess a good majority of us like the fluffy, relaxing stuff. I am seeing a tendency in “romcom” in the newer historical and xianxia dramas, though, which I personally am all for.
You’ve replied to @annabanana128 3 times, did you know you could send them a personal message instead?
yeah, i know that invention is there, thank you
If it makes you feel better, I totally do the same thing, so I guess we’re both weird. I even sometimes check what the MPAA 16+ warning is for, because I don’t like watching violence. I once tried to watch a drama without checking its ending first, but before I finished it, I caved and I checked the ending anyway. “Unchained Love” was one of the rare ones I watched as it aired (My logic was: Dylan Wang is in it. He’s my favorite and I love him, so even if it’s a sad ending, I’ll end up watching it anyway because of him, so maybe it’s better if I don’t know.) and I can tell you that those last episodes were STRESSFUL.
Hahahaha! It always reminds us as if we don’t know. I just got the pop-up too.
Honestly, i prefer K-dramas more than C-dramas even the modern ones, some C-dramas can give me depression, they really like misery sometimes, like the FL gets cancer & dies, “stairway to heaven” type of misery.
lately, i watched a C-drama on tv & just felt like breaking it afterward, it wasn’t modern but for some stupid reason they decided to get one of the girls r*ped & everything went downhill from that point, i can’t even type correctly from how frustrated i’m right now.
Sometimes I’m watching a drama and then I notice the subs gets worse all of the sudden. Then I check and see that the team hasn’t edited all of it yet. So I just leave it, watch another drama (my MDL plan to watch list is huge ) and come back later . And this is for dramas that have already finished airing a while.
Is it princess agents by chance?
nope, it was that one, The Little Nyonya
everything was going so fine & the FL had her fair share of misery already so i thought it’ll be good after that but NO, it was really stupid & no-one gets their fair punishments, the FL & the ML just met again at the last 10 mins & i just want to punish the writer rn lol
but the title you mentioned proved my point, they love these concepts.
