Those huge TV's on the side of buildings?

I assume they are a real thing? But, do they also have sound, or do people have an app and use their phone to hear the sound from them? If they play sound as well, just how loud is it to be sat on the same floor as one inside the building? Surely it’s really loud even with sound proofing?

Largely because of those screens you often see news also summarized as text under the speaker. So that you can understand what is happening and which news agency to find the news on.

I never really noticed they where with sound when I was in Korea and Japan but maybe some did but it did blend in with the other sounds. In cafe’s and restaurants the tv was sometimes on with sound.

But I guess they can put the sound on of them when there is really something important all citizens should know. Like if a disaster is going to happen or an other huge event.
