I mean, at this point, they’ve gotta be. Some of those scenes are definitely very out there. Hahahaha!
Happy to be featured in your list.
Hahaha it gave me a good chuckle, because it crossed my mind too .

Another one that had me laughing:

I only turned on the TCs occasionally. A collection a few that made me laugh.
Cdrama & Kdrama watchers know the scene they are talking about
When a person drowns, they seem to sink deep down into a dark abyss.
In love with the food

The FL is making tea (Song dynasty tea ceremony, somewhat similar to a matcha ceremony).

The following comments are filled with people’s preferred tea.
“The Mariana Trench” got me. I laughed so much when the FL in a drama fell into this waist deep pond and the ML had to save her from the deep abyss that is the Atlantic Ocean in the next scene. Especially since I think someone else fell first and that person got up immediately and was just standing in the water. It was my first “falls in water” scene and I was so confused what was going on, just thinking “That was barely a pond, what is this?”
Those are the worst

They could at least pretend that the water was deeper, but no (unless it’s on purpose to make fun of the trope).
First of many .

But, hey, one could drown even in a bucket of water

All the gamer talk had me

This one made me laugh. It doesn’t even matter which drama it’s from, because it’s valid for a lot of dramas, or more accurately, that one part that oftentimes is… less than explained… or just totally implausible (I’m looking at you, “My Demon” ) and onlt exists for the
) and onlt exists for the drama
drama , but I agree, they are fun anyway and we love them.

Also, this one from “Check in Hanyang”, which is a bit of a spoiler, so I’ll blur it for those who haven’t seen the drama yet, but want to.

It took the longest time for her to find out who this character was and this was the scene when she FINALLY found out, so this comment was timed perfectly.
 perfectly.

  that’s totally funny
 that’s totally funny
It really is. Yesterday I came across two gems of a comedy drama that I was watching that went “This kiss is the longest kiss in history.” and right after “It is taking 5-7 business days.” The scene itself was probably a dig at the the lengthy anticipation moments before kisses in dramas too, so the comments really made it even funnier.

One of the characters is dying and he’s going on and on…

There was this one scene in a historical drama where the lead was being all serious and intense, and someone commented “bro’s wearing 10 layers of robes just to confess his love ” …I laughed way harder than I should have! Timed comments really make the watching experience 10x better sometimes

Haven’t seen a dedicated thread for timed comments yet, but that would be a good idea. Got any more funny examples from shows?
