I’m glad to see Viki including GL in its LGBT offerings and increasing the diversity. I requested Taiwan drama “Fragrance of the First Flower” and hope to see it here at Viki as well.

Watched the first two eps, and so far I like it. Gotta say that it does remind me in two ways of 1/2-hour British GL comedy/ drama “Sugar Rush”, in that the lead is in love with a straight bestie, and has a sibling who thinks they are an alien.
I am also surprised that it doesn’t have more GL content, since it is so well known for all the BL material. Be nice to see some yuri or S stories from Japan.

DO you guys know why there is a BL sub category on Viki but no GL sub category ?
While there is no GL category, there is a GL genre tag now at Viki. As to why there is no GL category, it’s probably two things: First, the fact there is very little GL content here at Viki. I think there are only 2 dramas currently that are true GL series. Second, GL is not as popular as the BL. BL gets a category because of its popularity at Viki, which is also why there are many more BL content compared to GL. BL makes more money for Viki, so it gets more attention.
