Sad… I am saddened by every ■■■■■■ from D+

If they bring quality Drama that I have watched - i will most likely watch it again. i.e.Misty, Sky Castle, Signal. But I will not watch any old Drama that I have already seen. They pretty much upset me by bringing Cleaning Up to Asia, but not to us in the USA.

I do not think they pause a threat to Viki by bringing old KOCOWA materials. Viki does not keep their licenses for a long period of time (for the most part)

I think most of the time that ■■■■■■■ brings material that is on VIKI - they buy it from Viki, as they have done before they started licensing it independently of Viki.

Viki still sells to other sources, such as Hulu, that clearly states it comes from Viki.

What do you guys think?

I don’t really know what to think. Except that nobody will be able to deliver the quality of trans-la-tions I’ve seen since being a Viki customer since 2010.

I agree, I have noticed that the Viki translations have been really helpful in giving the insight to the nuances of what’s said and a deeper understanding for me. I also miss the translations of the song lyrics when watching things ■■■■■. I never realized how important understanding the songs could be to what’s happening on screen. American shows, unless it is a musical, don’t usually use the songs the same way.

they will not be translated into other languages ■■■■■, English subtitles only,

I checked my NF account and selected various languages and a considerable number of Korean content is apparently available in different languages. What I cannot attest to is the quality of the translations.
For example “Cafe Minamdang” is available in seven languages.
“Hometown Cha Cha Cha” available in 30 languages.

That’s correct. I meant those that are not NF Originals. They are usually not translated (at least into Polish they are not), so Youth of May, Police University, When Your Love Blooms etc. that are coming to NF now will probably be available only in English, unless something has changed. This is what I meant
