[Viki Community Team] May 2024 Updates

Dear Viki staff,

In my opinion, most of your changes help building a better Viki, so I congratulate you.

Regarding reports, I believe you wanted to narrow them down to stop malicious messages and make only the involved parts to be the ones bringing things to light with actual evidence.

About those concerns exposed by my peers, you already showed and told us that you are open for improvements, so I know you’ll study every case and then decide what could be counted as exceptions (to avoid malice, baseless reports and so on…). A good exception for a report made by an outsider would be the case exposed by sheli, for instance, since it’s so clear.

Regarding ensuing a fairer and better Viki by stopping abusive behaviours and trying to avoid blacklists, I think knocking at the door to write a reminder to you (when time passes by and we get no answer) it’s not breaking your rule about it nor being repetitive, but only a simple, harmless way to remind you: “Hey! Don’t forget about me!” ^^ :cherry_blossom:

Therefore, regarding all those suggestions I compiled on a topic to avoid deleting volunteers by mistake, how are you going to actually ensure that people will not be deleted by mistake/abusively anymore?

Thank you so much for your attention.

:sparkling_heart:
