We have to paste the OL as we combine.

That’s not realistic. Segmenters are supposed to do each part in one sitting and then you want them to do something that will take hours? All for those poor viewers? You could also just paste them back after each part instead of waiting until the whole episode is done.

?? ASC does not have any subtitles. Are you translating Korean to English? You should be able to sub via the segment timer.

If you want access to the subtitle editor, ask MSV. I can only add segmenters

Yes it does not have subs but I caption the English along the way. Normally I don’t do that with ASC because I sometimes have a hard time hearing what they say exactly but with Eric it’s fine so far

With 400+ eps and many unsegged and subbed I don’t think it’s an issue I do caption while segging when I feel like doing so.

With A&C projects I always have the urge to wipe it all clean and start fresh. But you can’t and then the subs are gone too

Imagine we now have shows with presubs in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French… and viewers getting mad if some of those subs magically disappear.

Dropping in stuff I needed to do this week, for motivation:

1. Edit 3 eps
2. Subtitle 2 eps

Lol, I did more than I had originally planned to do.

I did:

• Edited an entire series of 7 eps
• Subtitled 3 1-hour eps
• Edited 3 1-hour episodes

PS. I sympathize with the segmentators’ discussion. It really is hard work having to copy subtitles. They already have enough work.
I am very grateful to them because even though it is hard work, there is always someone willing to help with the projects. It’s time for Viki to think of a way to help them.

As I understand it, you do not have to post a message every day. You just have to make 1 post during the specific week, and like at least 2 other posts. That is all.
