They wouldn’t “rule” in the sense that they’d have their own will or something, but the fact that they are being used more and more of course will have its effect. They are already being used to make decisions about people’s life and in war. Future cars will in critical situations have to “decide” whether to save the person(s) inside the car or the one crossing the street. And all their decisions and conclusions are based on whatever information they were fed by humans. They might take over the biases of those humans, while they lack empathy on top of that.
