Hi, I was just wondering…
I submitted a request for a new channel last week, and up until two days ago it was unsearchable so I was sure it wasn’t approved yet. It became searchable today though and I even got a moderator request, but I haven’t gotten a PM from Viki. Does this mean it’s been approved?
The PM from Viki may be late or never arrive. If it is searchable, it is approved.
I guess the bigger question is though, is it licensed, will there be videos on it. fan channels can no longer add videos from other sources. NEW fan channels would appear to indicate license coming?
a puff of white smoke would help if we’re right or not, since we’re all guessing?
Unfortunately, the fact that you get a fan channel approved just gives you the opportunity to gather support for it and hope it gets licensed. I have a fan channel from last year that never got licensed, so it just sits there. Maybe one day Viki will get the license.
Yeah Do you guys have any ideas on ways to gather support/get the channel noticed so more people will submit license requests?
And thanks for the clarification on my original question!
CMs usually send invites to their other channels to get people to come by. I’m sure you probably have gotten those fan notifications. That’s the way to go to get people supporting the channel. Also, here on Discussions. Post it here and ask for support and recruit a team. Good luck.
thanks for the info!
