Btw, War of Faith 《追风者》(with Wang Yibo) is also set within this wartime period.
For info, one of our fave Xu Kai+Bai Lu dramas, Arsenal Military Academy (2019), is set in the 1910s (specifically in 1911), just before World War I.
@joicej I’m with you (and many are hoping too, I believe). Let’s hope Viki will obtain licensing rights for these two wartime period dramas.

Happy to see Xiao Shunyao in a new drama after watching him with Cheng Yi and Joseph Zeng in “Mysterious Lotus Casebook” in 2023. Too bad we couldn’t watch that on Viki.

I loved “Mysterious Lotus Casebook” !!! A big favorite for me in 2023 !
Yes, I met Xiao Shunyao in “The Blue Whisper” in 2022 and I also saw him again in “Till the End of the Moon” the following year. Even if it was supporting roles, he was great !
