Cucumbers… I didn’t know this…& to think all these years I’ve
only been making salads with the cucumbers… :two_hearts:

Cucumbers contain most of the vitamins you need every day, just one cucumber contains Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc.

I eat them raw or just sprinkle a pinch of salt and chilli powder.

We use it almost daily, we add tomatoes and several other vegetables to make curry.

Wow, there is power behind that veggie!! Since my childhood whenever my mom would make cucumber salad, she cut few ending slices at the end and the bigger piece (end) would place on her forehead and 2 more on her cheeks. In summer the piece on forehead is cooling, I put one piece cut in half under my eyes, it sticks usually well.

That page is “not found”. Those juices look delish!!

This home remedy I do twice a year is an immunity booster, it helps with colds and digestive track, just do not overdo it as vinegar is acidic too much can affect your tooth enamel and the esophagus, some prefer to dilute the intake or rinsing mouth after…
Btw turmeric is most effectif when combining with fat and black pepper… (google it)

You can use it also as air refresher when mixed with herbs, lavender, rosemary or just essentiell oils, also good when a family has a flu.

Make your own vinegar with orange, grapefruit or lemon peals (only the skin, after you you’ve done fresh juice)

The power of baking soda is endless, in fact it’s quite affordable (not so in Europe in large quantities). I have to attest that using baking soda and white vinegar loosens drainage much better than the chemical ones… it’s also more ideal where you have hard water with mineral (calcium) deposits.

Keep a small dish with baking soda in fridge to neutralize odors.

Benefits of eating bananas at the right time… and I love banana bread… I eat bananas frequently and they often get really ripe. I just made before Easter one cake a round one in the torte form… I used ingredients without measuring except for flour. I use sunflower oil instead of butter because it’s faster… it was very lightweight this time and not dry… it always comes out differently.
