@irmar, I think 11:59 refers only to the end of the marathon 26th, not the beginning 20th. I think the subathon started 20th (today) 00:01 PDT (10 AM CET).
Marathons have always been (at least) one week long, and I think they made a mistake.
@bozoli
If you have a full week you can spend on Viki, that is that. I don’t, as I said, for me I have only the Sundays at the moment and in the past months not even that day. In theory you are almost right, I would have 6 days and the 1 minute you get on the 20th, you get taken it at the 26th … But is a mere theory!
If you say my days have more than 24 hours, well then you must know my schedule better than me.
It’s still okay since they need the attention and presence on the on air projects, or whatever there is to subtitle and segment. So I am sure in the end someone who worked really hard will get a nice prize, well for those who work on the weekend dramas it’s just a bit unfair, but well …
That’s life, time is not always on our side.
I don’t have any idea what you are talking about, and I certainly never claimed I know how much time you have in your life for these things. Please don’t put words in my mouth.
I miscalculated thinking 26th was a Sunday, not Saturday, Therefore thinking we would get full 7 days. But besides that, I don’t think I said anything that insulting.
I said - I could only take part for 3 hrs. And you said no, that I could take part for 7 days. I didn’t mean the time the Sub-a-thon takes place. I ment the time during the Sub-a-thon I could eventually take part.
You took it the wrong way and I don’t know why either? I don’t see an insult from your side, nor from my side …
I believe Viki has a way to just retrieve the total count (of subs and segs) per Viki ID for the duration of the thon. I’m sure that is just a piece of cake for the V-engineers. So, don’t fret.
Btw, if I’m reading it like the thon poster (supposedly) meant, the thon starts and ends at 11:59pm PDT on both the 20th and the 26th.
Good luck to all who’ll be celebrating and having fun (I know, some of us don’t have the ‘luxury’ of time for such fun. But pompoms are ready!)
It must have been the fact that internet communication is indeed a poor tool. Because from the way you constructed your sentences I thought you were annoyed with me for butting into your way of working. Which was never my goal.
@camiille the 12 am would then refer to August 21st, I have to honestly say, this 1 Minute before next day is super confusing. I really suggest next time to work out a better time frame. Many subbers were really confused. To avoid this in future a better time frame would be easier. Also showing correctly:
Starts: August 20th @ 23:59 pm Pacific Time, 1 minute before August 21th
Ends: August 26th @ 23:59 pm Pacific Time, 1 minute before August 27th
why did this start right when my university started :’( oh well, i’ll try my best to try to get 1,000 but school work might hold me up. if only this was a week ago. dangit viki.

According to my knowledge, Distorted and You Are Too Much will play in America only if you have Viki Plus until September 1, 2017. Both titles will be available to Viki Standard users after September 1, 2017. If you want to seek clarification, you may want to add a note to your help request at Viki Help Center and see if they can answer this question for you.
You must have confused the threads. The one about vikipass plus is just underneath. And you already posted there, so you may want to delete this one which is irrelevant to the thread subject.
