Guys, I am a moderator of a project and how to mark or as done? I mean right now I have 2 over 3 project and one of it already done but still my project have 2.
When a project is 100% in your language, your slot will automatically get free again (if it doesn’t, you’ve missed a segment somewhere). You will still remain a part of the team on the team’s site, and you’ll still be able to access the project.
When an episode is complete, you can go to (subtitle)editor - manage video - lock it. Then no one will be able to access the episode anymore and change things in your language.
You can also hide your team on the team’s site to prevent that people apply for it (manage channel - team settings - Hidden team(s).
Hope it helps.
Hi there,
I must say that most of the time I’m not able to hide my team (Dutch). Don’t know why, but the option to hide the Dutch team just isn’t there…
Perhaps if I alert the CM, they can do it for you, but I haven’t tried that yet.
If a project is completed, you’ll not see your language to hide your team. It automatically does so.
But for a long while now, even when a language is completed, you’ll still receive messages from the project finder.
@vikicommunity @brendas, I am leaving it here just in case you guys see it.
When a channel is already completed, the language from the drop down menu vanishes, as expected.
But the channel still appears on Project Finder
An application from 2025, when the show was already completed years ago.
Unfortunately that doesn’t involves the Dutch team. Whenever I complete a project, there is never a notification. And our language isn’t in the dropdown menu.
Also, the email notification is not working anymore. I found today I had two recent applications, but no email about them, and I have the email notification turned on.
All languages should be in there
I saw it in the dropdown menu whilst I’m still working on the project. But as soon as it’s finished, we’re gone
I thought you closed the team once you are finished with the series. But do I have close it when we are still working on it?
I have mailed them about this issue recently. They replied that I can solve it by hiding the team. So I wrote back that hiding our team is not an option because it’s not on the list. I suggested they fix the website so that
- you can hide your team
- the application manager saves the changes you make in the settings of a show.
If you get bombarded by Dutch subbers begging to be in your team while you already have so many subbers that each of them can only translate 3 lines, then it might be a good idea to hide the “vacancy.”
I think once the subs are completed, it will get hidden automatically.
So basically, you only need it if your team is “full.”
