Hello everyone, I am a subtitle translator and translate subtitles from English to Dutch. I am assigned to a series called “Walking on Thin Ice”. But this series is only watchable through Viki Pass, and I do not have it. I already contacted the channel manager / moderator and addressed the problem, but she said it should be possible… Now I’m lost… My translation pages say, ‘We are sorry, but this video is currently not available due to regional or other content licence restrictions.’ Does anyone else also have this kind of problem? (I can access them, though.)

If you do not have Viki Pass and aren’t QC (Qualified Contributor with at least 3k subtitles) you won’t be able to access shows which are under Viki Pass, no matter if you’re part of the team or not. You will need to contribute on another project you have access to, or buy the Viki Pass until you get QC status.
Usually, only the first 2 episodes of dramas which are under Viki Pass are available without having it.
