Hi, I’m interested in subtitling Korean to English. What steps do I need to begin to start to be a successful subber?

ninja academy has a subbing portion, where you can learn to sub. it might be good if you can fill out your about me page on viki. (heres mine for an example https://www.viki.com/users/parkjiu/about) you can find more projects on the project board, and message the channel managers. if you have any other quesitons, feel free to pm me:)

I see you need to go to the Help Center and read a few articles there. In short. Viki has Korean and Chinese language dramas (and VERY few others). They come without any subtitles. After the segmenting (you don’t need to know what that is for now), the English subtitlers listen to the original Korean or Chinese and they translate into English. Then the English is edited to make it grammatically and syntactically correct. After this is done, the other languages can start. No team except for t…
