Cm of Degree of Love, I have been for some days at the bottom of the abyss! The reason? Well, Degree Of Love (https://www.viki.com/tv/35629c-degree-of-love) is licensed only in Europe. Do you know how difficult it is to find Korean-English translators in Europe? EDIT: We need TRANSLATION EDITORS urgently.
Conclusion: the project is at a standstill. Still, this drama is great!
Community of Viki, help your colleague (who will fall in depression if it continues lol). If some of you would like to join the team to help, it would be great.
I am in North America. I can enter the bulk translator and make suggestions, but that is all I can do. Put me on the team and letās see if I can make a correction in the bulk editor that sticks. If not, you can take me off the team.
I made a suggestion (this is all I can do as a non-team person) in the bulk editor that you should check to see if it appears. In Episode 008, I made the correction to add a space between āDirector.ā and the break. Why? While a space is not needed when watching the drama using a Viki app, other apps, like Roku Smart TV, may not presently read the HTML code properly and run words together at the break. IT knows about this issue. Inserting the space before the break does not create a double space on the viki apps.
I am currently watching the drama on Drama Fever. It is a nice drama. If there is any way a QC can get access for editing purposes other than the bulk editor, let me know. I would love to help you. While I have studied the Korean language for about 4 years, I am not good enough to be a translator or translation editor. But I am very familiar with the language culture and make a good grammar editor.
Well, we havenāt got to episode 8 yet anyway
I donāt think an Editor could work from only Bulk Editor. Without watching the video, you donāt even know if itās a man or a woman talking, if they are talking to one person or to many, and the whole situation.
Iāll p.m. you for alternative ways of doing things.
