Second leads who should get the girl/boy

Well that’s true hehe

The good thing about the Moon That Embraces the Sun is that now, oppa has The Night Watchmen, and he’s definitely getting the girl this time!!! asdfjdskfjejfkldjf He’s such a cutie. I love that playboy <3

Hahahah, had a nice laugh, Thank you for that.

I never felt this way as the topic suggests i.e. second leads who lost the girl/guy. This is the first time I’m able to include myself in this discussion. I recently started to watch an older drama called ‘Glory Jane’ as it was recommended in another discussion and find that the second lead really deserves the girl or as I’d prefer to put it,I don’t know how she’s going to choose… The two guys are gorgeous and they both deserve her. They’ve both been in love with her since they were ten…

is it on viki?

omg i love you for continuing to spread this!! im currently on ep 19 and i gotta tell you THANK GOD you feel the same way as me cuz im loosing it here over this second lead syndrome T.T like, its tearing me apart, especially with his condition (wont spoil it for others but you know what i mean). i love them both but i of course prefer 2nd lead if it was my choice, and it kinda makes you personally feel like protecting him and helping him get out of that character he’s in. <3 plus, he reminds me of a puppy :dog: and he’s so gorgeous!! i wanna give him a huge hug. they both deserve her, your right. but i pity the 2nd lead so much.
i am soo glad you are watching it with me so we can talk about it.

ps, when you get to episode 18… WHEN YOU GET THERE… you GOTTA tell me lol! because i personally think that that is the best episode yet (so far i have said that about every episode of this lol) but it really is, and her acting is incredible. like, im blown away. :open_mouth:

@alienluvah yes, its on viki and currently watching on hulu (if you live in the US)

its sooo goodddd.

I finished it up yesterday. Must say it was very good. Interesting for me on another level too. The actor who plays the CEO of the company is a gorgeous loveable character in ‘Glorious Day’ ( love him to bits ) and in Glory Jane he’s a terror. I had not seen him in any other drama and was not familiar with his previous work so that was refreshing as so many other Korean actors tend to be typecast. Now the beautiful young man who plays I U where has he disappeared to? can’t find any info on him except that he plays violin and got an award for his part in ‘Glory Jane’ he is so good in this why haven’t we seen him in other dramas. I won’t spoil it for you by saying anything about the ending just go enjoy the rest. I loved it.

WARNING SPOILERS IF YOU’VE NEVER SEEN, “A WELL-RAISED DAUGHTER”!!

I never really had these moments but, “A Well Raised Daughter” did it for me. I was so confused because JHN starts off with SDH… and I practiced my feelings into not shipping them. (I had to find out who exactly she ended up with because I would die being disappointed) So when she was dating SDH, it was so difficult to watch because they had so much chemistry. This show is 122 episodes. So for 100 episodes or so, she was pretty much in love with the “2nd” male lead.

I had to school my emotions to ship her and HYC. It was kind of hard since they had no developement whatsoever. HYC as a character is very likeable and the type of a man every woman dreams of finding, but their chemistry was as stale as a dried up bread.

In conclusion, why didn’t the writers just make JHN and SDH end up together. WHYYYYY?

excuse me everyone, these are major spoilers for the show Glory jane:

@ger_o_malley i just finished the show and WHAT?! wait… WAIT??! I.WOO ENDS UP WITH HER MOM!!!
hold on… hyperventilating i did NOT see that coming.

btw, im reading on some reviews and recaps for this show’s end, it seems like allot of people are thinking this is some kind of “open end”… they think that in woo was just “bonding” with her mom as he got a new family now to bond with, and i think it was a pretty clear end to me. they are saying that the show ended “open” because she didnt answer kim young gwang’s question when he asked her to marry her and just smiled. some are still convinced that jae in’s real love is In woo and that she will somehow get with him…? if they decided to end it on the note that he ends up with her mother, first of all i dont see that making any sense, because he fell in love with her DAUGHTER and now is all cozying up next to her… O.o? and i think that is just… really disturbing. also i dont see how it makes any sense because they never even had any communication during the whole show O.O like, they never talked… ever. lol. am i the only one getting this?
ps, why does jae in still say at the end, after he asks to marry her “i wonder if my third dream (ie. marrying true love and having a big family) will still come true?”

this is what i got from the ending:

kim young gwang is and forever will be the love of her life, (i mean, thats what the whole show was about, basically, right?) he asks her to marry him, she smiles but that obviously means yes since he IS the one she loves, so we already know what will happen there, and in woo stays with the mom, since they are sitting next to the christmas tree taking pictures with hearts above their head, (that look like a mistletoe?) and he says that because he loves jae in, he is able to move on in love (meaning with the mom’s).

or is he just really bonding with her mom because he loves her and hopes she will come back to him?
idk, sorry if i sound a mess, i was pretty sure of the ending and loved it, loved the whole thing, except for the fact that the whole in woo-jae in’s mom- relationship kinda made it weird,(but thats just my opinion). and then i read reviews and the comments on here and it confused me O.O
so what happened at the end?

here’s another set of reviews/comments:
https://www.youtube.com/all_comments?gl=UG&page=1&hl=en-GB&v=gqSsmLqDGyQ

edit: in one of the comments, it said this about in woo and the mom: “they aren’t dating. They’re just spending time together. Since his father and Jae-in’s father were close friends, I’m sure Jae-in’s mother has met In-woo and cared for him like a son since Jae-in often played with In-woo.”

but i find that hard to believe… O.O
they looked close and he said he was going to find a new love.
edit: okay i watched that piece again,it’s a possibility that he was just spending time with her. could be.

omg, i just realized how much i wrote… im sorry LOL i let my emotions take away. btw thanks so much for not spoiling and for watching glory jane!

spoiler did you kind of tear up when he died or was it just me? T.T i mean, the guy made me hate him so much but im not a blackened heart kind of person lol. i have some sympathy too. though he did deserve the things that came to him. i wouldnt say cancer but you know what i mean. i bawled at so many parts in these last couple episodes

thats very true. cant say i hate it all the time tho xD

you mean in woo? i love him toooo~!!! gaahhh he plays 2nd lead in the drama pretty man/bel ami and he plays main lead in “i do i do” along side the main lead woman in “kim sam soon”. i havent watched either of those dramas but i hope to soon to see him as lead in i do i do!

Please tell me you guys still watch K-Drama. I hope so.
The talk is very interesting btw and thanks for all the gifs. I Saved some of them too for ref.

But most importantly. Please tell me you guys watch this drama already.
The Innocent Man (English title) / The Nice Guy.
Ma-Roo by Song Joong-Ki(SOLID male lead) Moon Chae-Won as Eun-Gi(first female lead), Park Si-Yeon as Jae Hee (2nd lead female) and perhaps Park Joon-Ha by Lee Sang-Yeob (2nd male lead that might just be a normal cast With Extension).

Cause I want to know what all of you think about the male main character (Ma Roo). It’s the first time I encountered a male lead character that mesmerized me so by his so consistent character throughout the serie (he didn’t change cause his behaviour is what already in him) spoiler alert.

The second female lead is such A. Bitch. And I can’t stop myself from wanting to slap her several times more than I can count in my entire K-Drama moments so far.
Please tell me what you think about it.

Here’s some gif of Eunhae to brighten your day! ^ ^/
