There is definitely sadness involved, and I do believe the young ML is on the spectrum.
Welp - I would be right in there bawling my head off. Because I have known and worked with children on the spectrum and also trained to do so (twice) - it touches my heart. The movie with Gong Yoo - A Man and a Women (yes it has some sexy scenes) but that is NOT what that movie is about. I cried for an hour after watching that - Gong Yoo is amazing and the loneliness they portrayed in that was just beautifully done because having children with special needs is NOT easy and you have to sacrifice a lot.
I havenât read reviews on it like I normally do before starting something, but after watching a trailer, the impression I got is that the overall message is an uplifting one. When that is the case, I can handle the sadness/heaviness involved a lot better, but I guess it would depend on how deep they go into some of those storylines.
Itâs sad, but inspiring. And Lee Je Hoon plays the uncle of the young man with Aspergers syndrome. It has a 9.2 rating, ranked number one on the all-time top shows on MDL.
Iâll have to be prepared I canât even finish Empress Ki because I know the ending - I cry and cry when I think about it. I canât let things go! Especially where Wookie is involved - but his acting in that is so good! I know that the ratings are SO high on Move to Heaven!
Is the actual ending sad?
No, the ending isnât sad, rather each âstoryâ is sad. I hope they make a second season ![]()
That was the impression I got. Good to know. Thanks.
I think the young actor is so talented, so I really wanted to watch him in this one.
Yeah, he does an excellent job. I just finished racket boys as well and heâs a great actor. Hope to see him in more things ![]()
I LOVED Racket Boys! He also had a small part in CLOY. I have no doubt he will have plenty more roles in the future because he is excellent.
maybe we need to do that???
not autism, but aspergers syndrome, I do so much want to start this show â â â â â , think I will start it this pm
it is a form of autism and no longer labeled as Aspergerâs believe it or not. You are âOn the Spectrumâ now - they do not diagnose people with Aspergerâs anymore. (I actually was trained to work with a little boy with autism and had to get certified so that is why I know this) ![]()
DSM -5
Unfortunately, when many people hear that someone is on the spectrum, they think that person is severely affected then the person becomes morose. I know a guy who, while a little bit odd, is a highly intelligent and very interesting person to talk with, but during a job turnover they diagnosed him as on the spectrum and that got leaked out. Co-workers started to behave stupidly towards him, whispering about him - looking at him and moving away, talking to him like he was simple-minded, talking down to him, etc. He ended up being âlaid off.â
Personally, I hate that label âon the spectrumâ.
I agree but that is now the term they use. I have dealt with people who have sensory processing disorder that they now call sensory integration disfunction - GEEZ! Really! There are people in the world that are so different and I believe you should get ALL the help you need but NOT BE Labeled! No Labels.
Question: Why is NCT 127 new song Sticker so controversial? I thought it sounded OK.What am I missing?
and I didnât know, thanks for my lessons this evening, and I didnât know that on the spectrum was really a thing, just thought it was just another show!! cool! again thank you for my lessons today!!
oh I did watch first episode, really quite interestingâŠ
Itâs controversial because it seems to be a love it or hate it song/album, Iâm not sure if the whole mini album has the same feel, Iâve actually only listened to Sticker and hated it. I love most of their music, but I thought that song was horrible, there are other fans who love it, I think polarizing might be a better word than controversial.

Cream Puffs for Everyone! I might need to make some this weekend! Love THEM!!!

Like @sweetybirdtoo, I hated the song. Iâm glad you liked it, but almost every NCT album is hit or miss. They LOVE experimenting with music, and thatâs what sets them apart. As for the controversy, itâs probably because people are either angry they didnât get what they expected when they pre-ordered or theyâre salty over the fact that Sticker ranked fourth on the all-time Hanteo charts for one-week sales when THEY didnât like the song
.
This isnât new. People have hated Boss, Make A Wish, Simon Says, Cherry Bomb, and most of NCTâs tracks in general, but NCT continues being NCT. I personally loved Boss, Make a Wish and Hot Sauce. Hot Sauce is my favorite.
