WayV - Turn Back Time (Chinese version preferably)
NCT Dream - ? probably Boom

Thereās too many sub-units lol
The leader of 23 chaotic kids Taeyong (my bais)
NME
PNG Egg
Heās very SEXY - you knew I would pick him right???hahahahahaha!
Yes he is, heās 26 so still a baby bird. Watch Kick It, The way he moves is beautiful. There are so many in the group, I have a couple bias wreckers. lol
@stardust2466_546
Might be able to move his transcripts over with Sannie and a couple others who just are not baby birds
@sweetybirdtoo I unfortunately FOUND HIM!!! He is very noticeable - I just have good taste
He was never lost, heās the one who makes sure everyone stays in line, so he canāt get lost.
He can be BARISTA tomorrow!!! YES!
YOWSERS!!!
you watched it LIVE?!! I still canāt get myself to listen to the song. After hearing the first ten seconds, I bailed I feel the same with WayVās Love Talk
DREAM is my fave sub-unitā¦ I love the entire Hot Sauce album. I really like good vocals and harmony, so DREAM easily won with the amazing layered vocals they show off every single time.
LOVE this live version of āMy Youthāā¦
and Rainbow:
NCT U: My favorites are From Home and Boss
NCT 127: not a big fan but I like Kick It
From the Sticker album, I liked Magic Carpet Ride
I also love She No Longer Needs Meā¦ though the way they sing it makes me cry sometimes
At the SuperM concert, it was one of the in between songs, they all did at least one solo song, and Taeyeong & Ten did Baby Donāt Stop. When I read the setlist I was like
Baby Donāt Stop is not as seductive as Love Talk, itās mostly in Korean so the lyrics arenāt as overt, unless you understand Korean, as opposed to Love Talk which is full English so thereās no doubt what theyāre saying, Baby Donāt Stop is also faster. Ten & Taeyeong dance through most of it and the way they move is fascinating to watch, theyāre both so fluid and Ten is so flexible, but itās not really seductive, they are shirtless under a dressy jacket a couple times. If my innocent youngest were awake Iād ask her if itās hard or embarrassing to watch, but sheās not.
If you want to listen to it and sort of check out the video you could watch the NCT Dream reaction of it.
Nah, the WHISPERING gets to me The way they whisper āBaby donāt stopā drives me insane
Go to 4:15 and listen to how Renjun pronounces Tenās full name, lol
LOL I love the way they pronounce itā¦ I remember when I first found out it was āChittaphon Leechaiyapornkulā and spent a whole day trying to spell and pronounce it
It is so different that it is difficult to relate to. You canāt really sing it. You canāt dance to it. There is no melody that you can sing along to, It has an odd rhythm and abrupt bar breaks. It is jarring - however some people like that kind of shakeup. I donāt. Personally, I donāt care for it.
It has 42,000 dislikes but I never downvote anyoneās song since they put their effort into it. I just wonāt like it.
NCT - Sticker
.
.
For comparison, Now hereās a song by Woosung that recently came out. It has a smoother sound. finished bars, and a rhythm you can dance to. The transitions are smoother rather than abrupt.
Woosung - Dimples
Welcome Our Barista - Taeyong - NCT
(I actually Like Cherry Bomb, Sticker, and Baby Donāt Stop - I jog to a 2pm radio on Pandora and they play those a lot - good jogging music)
Maybe a dance off with these two in the CafƩ today! Dance Taeyong!
Well, I wouldnāt say that I liked the song that much. It was OK. More that I donāt understand why the dislike was so strong. Thanks for your input.
Yes, it does seem to be a polarizing song. Thanks for your feedback.
Thanks for your comments and insight. It is a different song for sure.
I watched a little of the 2021 Grammy Awards (rerun) and I know there was COVID-19 but it still made me sad to see so little ālive vocalsā performances. And when they did sing, many were using AR or other aids. I guess the days when performers would sing without autotune in the mics or other aids (like backing tracks) are gone forever. It is really hard to find true live vocal performances these days. Makes me sad. And most of the nominees for the songsā¦disappointing for me. When are we going to see some real songwriting when it comes to composition again?
Still on my quest to find some actual live vocals in the Korean Music Shows. Immortal Songs seems to be the only one who has a few people who sing live without any āaidsā, although a lot of the performers on that show do. I think You Hee Yeol Sketchbook has some people that do live singing without aids but I found out Sketchbook doctors the vocals in the editing, even when they donāt need it. Guess the only place there is a chance to hear some true voices is at concert. Too bad.
To cleanse my ears after those Grammy performances, I just went to listen to one of the best Grammy nominated songs ever, in my opinion. So simple, but just so haunting melody. And the lyrics, heartbreaking but speaking truth. Maybe we canāt all relate to the exact circumstances, but the feelings resonate, and Tracy Chapmanās voice is just so real. A masterpiece. For anyone interested, Hereās a live performance from 1988.
Hereās another Live performance from 1988. I think the sound has been āenhancedā in post editing by the uploader because you can hear everything more clearly, but I believe Tracyās voice is hers and not Autotune.
