You do gardening as well? Is the weather at your place also so unstable? We had hot days like in summer and tomorrow supposedly -1 Celsius at night… I have to cover some planted veggies! I love rhubarb, yummy!!

Yes, I love gardening and having my own veggies. I need to get more creative when it comes to my Jerusalem artichokes so if you have any interesting recipes then please share. 
The weather has been a mess lately, it’s supposed to be spring but it snowed again a few days ago (it’s gone now).
I have a big property to be honest, so big that I don’t use most of it

My daughter recently started doing some modeling/acting for commercials and one of the commercials officially started airing today on Instagram!

I am not back like in the past just wanted to let you know that I am doing okay.
Don’t know if the picture worked out hey I am still a newbie to smartphones. At least I tried, sunrise this morning around 20 °C today a golden October warm for this season.

so this may be more a laugh for the day, first off I did lose my little dog a few months ago, now lets go on the this , I have “adopted” 6 cats, 3 blacks, 2 grey tabbies, one black & white and a siamese, ok here’s the funny part, I have two chickens that attempt to eat the catfood, , I do chase them away, they are the neighbors chickens. so My empty spot has been filled. but still got to stop, not able to do this.

I thought, that I missed out on this season, since it was in the news that most of them already moved to the south 2 weeks ago. Yesterday evening when I was walking through the streets with my friend, she directed my attention to the sky and there it was - the sound of cranes. The v-formation was not perfect and they flew south-east, when normally they fly in the direction of south-west … Hopefully they will make it to their Winter residence and will come back in Spring.

One highlights is that I noticed the Arashi Youtube channel added a bunch off the old MV’s to their Youtube channel and they finally added the MV for Wish. I missed watching that MV for years since it’s so cute. So I’m happy it’s back on Youtube because I regretted deleting all MV’s on my external HD years ago because they where on Youtube anyway including all old Arashi stuff I had.

Maria, as I was weeding yesterday, I also dug up Jerusalem artichokes, I have a bucket full. They grew too many and interestingly my town consider those as invasive plants… I keep just couple of roots as they flower late and bees love them…
I have more to dig between my raspberries plants, I have feeling they aren’t helpful to the raspberries.
Now I have to look also for recipes, perhaps I cook few in my veggie soup. But it’s hard work to wash them and peel…

I think mixing it with other root vegetables and making a gratin was good, I made many of those last year. I still haven’t gotten my garlic down and we might get snow soon, it’s nice that the time to plan for next year has started.

Sometimes I just get lucky and capture the beauty of nature in a picture. When you consider that reality is 1000 times more beautiful than in a picture. This unique moment is so quiet and it takes my breath away, with such powerful beauty of nature i love it

My apartment has a tiny kitchen, it’s not practical at all. Anyway I somehow accomplished baking Xmas cookies and making pumpkin soup for tomorrow’s gathering with friends from the community garden. - We’ll be around 12 people. I was lucky to have grown 11 Hokkaido pumpkins all except the last are so huge between 3 and 4 kg each. I gave away some and have still some in my cellar.
I tried to use the metal molds for my vanilla croissant dough (purchased) but not all came out, so I had to redo and use the cookie cutters. The choco ones are called “Brunsli”, they are very yummy. Swiss Xmas cookie dough.
Anyway, I’m ready for tomorrow and that’s what matters. I’ll try to upload pics from my phone tomorrow… hoping it will work, usually it’s complicated.
(The metal molds are a Czech tradition to bake Xmas cookies, the dough is a delish!! I’ll do those later)
