The odd things K-Dramas taught me about Korea!

your reply got me lol, i watched that drama recently “Behind your touch” , there is a serial killer with psychic ability & one of the actors suspected a certain person so of course he decided to go & meet him alone, he got stabbed & b4 he die, instead of saying the killer’s name or job (a unique one btw), he decided to say “the blackout”& let them investigate what did he mean by that.
that reminded me of these scenes when the witness had to say a name & instead of taking 2 seconds to say it, they would mutter “the killer’s name is… is…” then bang, they got shot & die, of course b4 dying maybe they would say some random features, like the killer was wearing a black shoes or something :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

and a fat lot of help that would be as the lore dictates that all baddies must maintain the baddies dress code.

You just know this cartoonist is a K-drama aficionado!

Yet somehow, no woman ever wears an actual bathing suit.

Oh, we have those in Greece too.
There are the double-door refrigerators like Bosch, Morris and LG: the ones with the small nook in the left (freezer) door, which can give ice cubes. It has to be connected to the water tubes, though, which limits the placement of the refrigerator.
My mother had one like that, but we never connected it, because I had small children and they would play with it all the time.
diporto

Then there are the ones (mostly LG and Samsung) with the little door for easy access to water , so that you don’t have to open the main door all the time in the summer.

Τhis one (an LG) directly gives you water and has a little faucet.
It doesn’t need a connection with the water supply, but has a refillable deposit holding typically 2 litres. Again the idea is to avoid opening the door too many times.

Here is the Samsung fridge with the so-called “Beverage center”, and there’s a short video on the page showing how it works. The jug is plastic, though, and its capacity only 1,4 litres, so you are a family of two or three people who want to drink 3 litres each in the summer, you have to refill it quite often and wait for it to cool. Yes, you can refill it from the outside, but in my experience, if you have a Greek summer, you need at least three such jugs in your fridge door and of course they must be made of glass, not plastic.

Thinking of it, most of these brands are Korean, so is it possible that Koreans first thought of it?
