Translating a drama: what is included?

I apologize if this is a very basic question, but since I am new, please forgive me.

When we start subbing a drama in a new language (no subtitles in the language whatsoever up to that point), what do we usually cover? Trailer(s) + episodes only? What about the drama description? Any other parts I could be missing?

Previously, a lot of things were available for people to translate.

But now, contributors are allowed to translate only the episodes and any video clips that might be there in a channel.
