This happens every time with Coming Soon dramas. They tell you they don’t carry it, but when you insist and hit enter, it appears. This is no exception.

Hello all,
These are the books I am currently reading:
“There’s no Such Things as an Easy Job” by Kikuko Tsumura. This is her first book translated into English so it’s very exciting because I am loving it.
“Gumiho” by Cat Cho
“Kim Ji Young, Born 1982” by Choo Nam Joo.
“Pachinko” by Lee Min Jin
I would love to explore some Chinese fantasy literature so any recommendations would be welcome!
Pachinko ; I’m caught up through episode 4. I think this is an 8 episode drama. It’s been pretty decent so far although (IMO), LMH’s character is kind of a dirt ball.
It’s available through Apple+.
Update: Finished this series. It was actually pretty good. Hansu (Minho’s character) redeemed himself to a certain degree so by the last episode, I didn’t think he was such a cad. The ending was a bit confusing though as you don’t find out what happened to Hansu and his son Noa. Hansu meets his 7-yr-old son in the street and has a nice chat with him and that’s the last you see of them. In episode 7 or 8, it is hinted that something happened to Noa that didn’t sound positive. I’m guessing the details were in the book but they couldn’t include them in the series because of time limitations.
Update #2: My research says Ap
ple+ is going to bring us a season 2 of Pachinko.
Pachinko looks beautiful, and intriguing
An insight into Pachinko, and Min Jin Lee.

I loved the book “Pachinko.” I could barely put it down when I read it.
The series is on Apple… I am pretty sure that Season 2 will be there too. It is good.
