- Many businesses close during Golden Week, making it one of the rare times when workers in Japan take extended vacations. It’s a popular time for travel, both domestically and internationally.
- Golden Week is also a time to enjoy Japan’s beautiful spring scenery, with many people visiting parks, gardens, and countryside areas to see blooming flowers and lush greenery.
