Im a frozen Gold QC, looking for some projects to jump in. Im very firm with my subbing and would take on any series translating from englisch to german. Do you know any series that might need a hand on the german subs? I´m happy for any hints and pms 
Maybe start with just having patience when you write to someone instead of leaving the conversation the day after.

Hello! I recommended that you start with German Academy Presentation The academy is not mandatory to translate on Viki, but it is for sure a very good starting point.

Hello! It’s been a long time since Viki decided to stop letting the volunteers translate from the Asian language to English. Currently, the only options for an Asian volunteer are to become a Translation Editor (TE) or provide captioning. I recommend signing up for the Chinese TE program, where experienced contributors will help you get started on Viki.

English to Chinese is still possible, if you want to translate shows from a country other than China/Taiwan. Another option is “captioning” C-dramas in Chinese for people who are learning the language or who have hearing problems.
However, you will need an experienced Chinese moderator to guide you as Viki nowadays requests for new subtitlers to be supervised.

Hello everyone ! I’d like to help on translation, especially for japanese drama, from Japanese to French. I can also do Japanese to English, but i honestly prefer French as it is my mother language. I tried applying for a japanese drama (Japanese to French) but i didn’t receive any response, so yeah i think i’ll continue applying and see how it goes ! But if anyone can help, it’d be really nice ! Thank you for reading my message ! <3

Japanese to English and any other language to French is not possible anymore; all the series are already subbed into English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, recently Italian, and some other Asian languages on random series by Viki/provider.
If you want to contribute to French as an editor, I strongly recommend that you do the Subbing French Academy; it’s not mandatory, but a great way to start on Viki.

Also, sorry if I didn’t quite well understand, but when I search for new projects to sub from japanese to english or from japanese to french, there is a list of projects to which I can apply to, so I’m not sure why is it not possible to sub series on the website anymore ? Like is it because every drama or new ones are already under one group of Viki/provider who subs and everything ? Sorry again for the question !
