Since you are a new contributor and the subbing from English to Spanish isn’t available anymore on Viki, I would recommend that you reach out to SSA and do the Editor training: Spanish Academy Presentation

Spanish - English is not available on Viki as the series and movies are Asian and already subbed in English (and some other languages) by Viki paid subbers and/or by the original network before uploading them on Viki.

Hi! I want to start doing Spanish roles but I fear that nobody will pick me due to the fact that since I started subtitling, I have been doing it in Afrikaans. However, I have spoken very fluent Spanish since I was young. Will the transition from one language to another be hard? But either way, I would love to become a Spanish subtitler.

No matter, apply to the series or movies that you want to be consider and let the moderator know that you are fluent, if not native also. There are people you work on various languages. Good luck🌸

Hey there! I just started and did my first sample video. Unfortunately the Romance video is not working so I did only the Crime one. I would really love to start subtitling a series or a movie. I’m proficient in English, Portuguese native speaker and an advanced speaker in Spanish.

Hello everyone! I’ve been a Viki member for a while and I’ve recently decided that I’d really like to contribute and start subtitling. I’m a native German speaker and proficient in English, so I’d really love to translate subtitles from English to German. I’m also studying some Korean, so that might come in handy for Korean shows and movies

@miracle_866 - You can do the sample subtitling in the Academy to show your knowledge and ability. There are a couple of new series that are out. Apply to the new series, also segmenting too. They are always looking and help with the series.
These are some suggestions to get you starting.
