Bonjour ! Your french is not bad ! May I just correct your sentence ? In French, we would say : “j’aime tout ce qui est francais” and not tout ce que c’est but it’s really not a big mistakes

I never planned on re-watching this… but you know, I was in the mood for a bucket of tears. OR SO I THOUGHT! :sob::sob::sob::sob:

Trigger Warnings: Sibling rivalry that ends in bloodthirst, lots of k*lling scenes, sword fighting. If you’re not keen on fighting/action scenes, this might be over the top for you.

I have a few episodes left until the finale and I had to take a break to watch something fluffy. T_T Immediately after ahem was assassinated I just couldn’t move on… (this was the same reaction I had watching it when it first came out) It’s still such a powerful and hurtful scene.

This drama gives you all the sweet & nice things you love about k-dramas and then once you pass the mid-mark it hits you with mayhem! Like, literally brings you to the highest peak of happiness and then drag you down to misery. Upon re-watching this, I picked up on things I didn’t notice the first time. It has been so long since, that it feels like a new show. BUT the pain this show gives is still the same.

I would recommend this show regardless because the cast is amazing. This is still LJK best act. You will adore the battered Prince that fought his way to the throne. The romance is beautifully executed in the midst of political tension. Although, it did take the FL eons to realize the sincere heart of ML but when they finally understood each other, everything just falls into place… and then falls apart…

On another note, the brothers were all amazing characters (even the bad ones). This reverse harem concept is fun to see. I wonder how IU felt while filming with the male cast fawning over her. It must have been a bit intimidating because she’s in almost every single scene with at least 1-2 brothers. So if you like this set-up, with lots of brotherly affection, it’s worth it to watch just for them.

I just finished re-watching Mr. Sunshine and I am so glad I did. I first watched it about a year ago (actually, it was my first K-drama and the one that got me hooked). I got so much more out of the re-watch and understood more of the details of the characters and what was going on with the plotline. Coincidentally, this drama was written by the same gal who wrote Goblin so you know it’s gotta be good.

I knew this was coming and thought I’d be fine, I never cry watching dramas, but I never imagined just how much more tragic the writers were going to make it. That scene it amazing and soul destroying at the same time. I just love Moon Lovers.

They had to do it to the most lovable Prince. All those fun silly scenes leading to that tragic scene. I had to hold a towel under my eyes because it kept getting sadder and sadder.

Regarding Ep 16, spoilers

Summary

It would have been one thing if it was originally history as the FL saw it, but after the 4th prince became closer to his brothers and didn’t want to kill him, but 10th ask it to be him instead of 3rd, Oh, the heartbreak of 10th dying, plus the anguish on 4th face, the somewhat hysterical laugh, oh it was so much worse. :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob::sob:

Yes! Everything you said in that summary!

Summary Ep. 16

The way 10th begged to be killed instantly so he didn’t have to suffer. And then he looked down at his wife’s body… :sob:

The only thing that made me feel a tad bit okay about that scene, was that Hae Soo understood Wang So’s actions. She didn’t misunderstand him.

I need to finish the rest and get this heart break over with. Even though I’ve already seen it before, somehow everything still feels hurtful to watch.

Keep the TCs on… i remember that the drama itself was pretty mediocre, but the TCs were hilarious

I’ve watched 30 episodes so far. For me it’s extraordinary. As I noticed from the first 9 episodes, it confirmed that the production is very good. If you don’t mind the intrigue and politics part, then it’s just good to watch. Yang and William are on fire. Also, XuKai has an extremely strong role. There’s also another extraordinarily sweet couple. A very well chosen cast. Overall, after 30 episodes, I still have it at a 10/10.

Actually, I enjoy these parts lol

I’ll give it a try then. Thanks!

Finished this last night. It was only 12 episodes w/ 1hr each.

This one… had the potential to be a good drama. The plot is interesting and could have expanded the sleepwalking topic but it was glossed over. I don’t particularly know what the writers were trying to do with this one. Each subplot they brought on wasn’t completed? It was like they wanted to add extra things but didn’t go any further to develop them into anything.

Chemistry was good between all the cast members.
The main leads were also well paired but like I mentioned, the writers lacked in developing anything. The romance ended up being very bland. 12 ep. was not enough for this type of plot. The ending has me like… what? okay… ended just like that. lol

I only watched this because I have a soft spot for dramas depicting idol life etc.

I also recently completed LMBYK. It was exactly like you described. Someone on MDL said it would be a good drama if it had aired pre-2015

At the end, the writers attempted to do suspense with the whole kidnapping. The scenes were very badly written. So many loopholes. The fl could’ve easily attacked the stalker by hiding behind the door. Lol There were chairs and lamps everywhere to use as weapons.

The scene where they were walking out and stalker lady sped up in her car, like why were the leads just standing there waiting to get hit and fl dramatically pushes ml out of the way when they could easily move out of the way together?

This sounds like a “skip” for me .

Just finished Jiu Liu overlord and that was a rollercoaster…
Need some cute fluff as a cleanser (not for this drama per se, just in general and the last few dramas I watched)
