Yes, definitely recommend to skip lol
I actually liked Jiu Liu Overlord except the fact that they misunderstand each other a lot.
I’m looking for a light fluffy drama at the moment too. Been watching too much heavy stuff lately.

Yes, me too. Unpopular opinion: I actually don’t mind that the FL can’t fight. It makes her power of persuasion and charisma that much stronger and it was a nice refresher.
The amount of misunderstandings are a staple in these dramas that I would like to banish… there should be a maximum
Where do I sign the petition for this?
@feyfayer and @midknightmoodz fluffy dramas!!! You’ve probably watched a lot of these but…
Marry Me!(Marimi!) this jdrama has to be one of the fluffiest little shows out there. It’s short and you could probably binge it in no time. The FL’s smile is ADORABLE. It’s also one of the only jdramas(the other is Perfect World) that i sincerely liked.
My Little Happiness - you can’t make a fluff list without this one(though you’re most likely to have watched it lol)
Perfect & Casual - professor/student-contravt marriage romance trope done right. I loved how both leads respect and build each other up; it isn’t a domineering/forced/unequal relationship.
Oh! My Sweet Liar! - nonsensical historical drama that honestly was funny, even with its outrageous, ridiculous plot. It has one of the most detailed traditional Chinese wedding scenes so that’s another plus. The FL may or may not annoy the heck out of you(she didn’t annoy me much) but she isn’t a doormat character, just a pathological liar.
Kdramas, Kdramas, oh WHERE has your fluff disappeared off to? i have no kdrama fluff reccs at all - excited for Business Proposal… it seems to be one of those old-style fluff dramas(PLEASE write it well, writers!!)
Movies:
The Dude in Me(basically 18 Again on crack )
Cheer Up, Mr Lee!(heartwarming, funny movie about a mentally impaired dad and his sick daughter)
Let me sign up too!
I can tolerate the misunderstandings as long as they’re fixed within 1-2 eps. instead of being carried on and on and added on more misunderstandings.
I have had a LONG break from drama watching since before the holiday season. I got really busy, and then I just couldn’t seem to get back into drama land. I tried a few, but nothing would stick. However, I recently started this one as part of a Watch Party, and we are loving it. I’ve been using all my willpower not to binge the rest without my fellow watch partiers.
I’ve also been watching the Thai version of ‘Voice’. I tried watching the Korean version a while back and really thought I’d like it but had to stop because of the shaky camera work. The Thai version has far less of that type of filming, so I have been able to continue watching it. Some of the scenes seem unnecessarily long and slow, but I like the overall story. (This one is only on Ntfx)
@vivi_1485 Yep, seen those! There’s a lot of fluff cdramas rn but most of them are very short (3min eps. Web dramas) with bad acting.
I think later this month there will be some upcoming kdramas to look forward too. There’s been a lot of suspense/thriller lately. Hopefully we can get some romcom or something more fun to watch.
Haven’t seen all of the ones you mentioned in the beginning , so I will check those out
The trailer for A Business Proposal really looks like the old-style, all-over-the-place, outrageous fluffy kdramas… I’m getting more excited for it as the days go by!!
It’s only 12 eps. I hope it’s well written for a short drama. I miss seeing Ahn Hyo Seop. The height difference is going to be killer though lol
Just ended

Thinking about starting:
It’s on Viki, but not available in my region… strange.
I started to look at it somewhere else. It is quite nonsensical
I just want to say that I loved this drama. It’s light as a script, but it’s good enough to put a smile on your face. Super adorable couple.
“Love and Leashes”
I was afraid that it could become embarrassing because of the topic, that they would make fun of it, but no!
I have rarely experienced such a confident way of dealing with the topic. Quite different from FSoG. And the actors are just great, they have chemistry right from the start.
I saw “High Society” the other day and I’m noticing more and more that many Korean films, not all, are even better than the dramas.
I’m 2 episodes in and laughing so much
I’ll have to watch this for Jun! It looks fun.
Not Viki related but I gifted myself a subscription to streaming service which had a good deal due the Olympics. So now I’m trying to catch up with 90 day fiance and it’s spin offs. And can watch my favorite Olympic games no matter if a Dutch person is competing
This was wild and disturbing and thankfully it was still light outside when I watched it. Unfortunately for the actress who played alongside Park Shin Hye (Jeon Jong Seo is her name), she played her part so well that I will never be able to look at her the same.
right now doctor ghost and moonshine, thought I would just slack off the others for awhile, some are so boring! just finished police university, think its quite good, really thinking of going to MDL and watch rookie cops

Why did I decide to re-watch this? I have to say, this is Jang Ki Yong’s best role. He portrays a versatile character in two lifetimes. Actually, all three main characters did an amazing job with their roles.
This drama starts by laying down a foundation… and layer after layer the story builds. Once it gets to the peak, it’s like an uno reverse. Each layer gets lifted one after another, to reveal the truth underneath. It’s complicated and will throw you on an emotional rollercoaster.
When I watched this the first time, I had no idea who the ml was. And even while re-watching it, my feelings still got confused. The writing is riveting and keeps you hanging on to each episode. This drama had so many heart-wrenching quotes. The kind that makes you want to believe in love after death. -I’ll be adding some quotes in the gut-wrenching thread-
This one really makes me re-evaluate my morals about good vs. evil. There’s a space in between for a shade of grey. What if you’ve never known what being treated good was like? If you do something bad/evil for someone you love because they are the reason you feel alive… are you considered a bad person? Because the person you did the bad stuff to, was the actual embodiment of pure evil… does it justify your actions? - - This drama makes me think a lot.
10/10 I would re-watch this again and again. Not the typical ml+fl love story.
