My first time ever hearing a K-Pop song and falling in love. B.E.G. Was my first K- Pop group!
BTS āN.O.ā I watched them on Inkigayo and was captivated. Talk about cradle robbingā¦
Cannot really remember, but I think itās SS501 Iām Stupid - Boys over Flower OST.
omg lol actually my sister introduced me to Kpop first just a few short years ago so im fairly new to kpop i fell in love with BAP first i really loved their strong bad boy persona and dancing style in their mvs and i really love the one who raps his voice is amazing but before that i was strictly a jrock girl who liked anime OSTs lol my first was The Abingdon Boys who sang Innocent Sorrow for DGray man and another band called One Ok Rock which i still avidly follow
B2ST/BEAST - Shock jap.ver. was the first Kpop song I listened to
The first kpop group that I listen to was SS501
The first Korean song I heard it was Danger of F(x) but right now I canāt stop listening to Han SoA, Younha, Ailee, Lee Hi, IU, Davichiā¦ and a lot more!
I originally hated kpop b/c my cousin was obsessed with it and would make me listen to way too many songs. I hated it. I also only heard stereotypical things about kpop so I didnāt think I would ever get into it. I got into Kdramas, but I still disliked kpop. That is, until one day, I randomly clicked on After School Club just to see what it was (it was the episode with Infinite). I heard a bit of Infiniteās āLast Romeoā and a couple other songs on there. Hearing Last Romeo made me look for the MV on YouTube and thatās when what I originally thought about kpop flew out the window. So it was Infinite that got me into kpop-main reason being that their music is more R&B/classical, almost 80ās sounding. Itās really different from the typical colorful kpop music. Idk why, but it kind of reminded me of Imagine Dragons and One Republic.
What I found funny was that I already knew L and Hoya (from Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Cunning Single Lady, Masterās Sun, and Reply 1997). And I started to watch High School Love On (with Woohyun and Sungyeol)-so basically I already knew 4 of the 7 members and I already liked them as actors. I saw the name Infinite flying around in the comments of those dramas, but I didnāt think much about it. I was a skeptic at first b/c Iād heard so many things about crazy kpop fans (cuz I didnāt want to join that kind of community) and cuz from what I saw, too many groups are more about show than raw talent. Plus I loved American music too much to be willing to listen to anything else (singers like Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake, Phillip Phillips, John Legend, Beyonce etc.).
I wanted to find out if Infinite was up to my standards (which I set really high on purpose). After listening to about 5 of their songs, I had to seal the deal cuz they blew me right out of the water. The catchy songs, the amazing vocals and the perfectly synchronized choreographyā¦So all of this, plus the fact that Iāve already seen them in Kdramas made it seem like I was meant to be an Inspirit all along. And to my surprise, Inspirits are totally opposite from what I expected a kpop fandom to be like- theyāre so respectful, kind and encouraging. Iāve never seen them start fanwars- Iāve seen them end them though (by being a moderator almost, telling everyone to be nice and acting like a parent) on YouTube and other websites. Not to mention that Iāve felt really proud when other fandoms commented on how peaceful (more like lazy-cuz I fall into that category) and supportive Inspirits are in general.
I also slowly got into BTS, CNBlue, and FTIsland. But itās all thanks to Infinite that Iām into kpop now.

Tell me what you think of my list^^ Iām sure I forgot a lot
I actually have most of those songs on my playlist right now (I also got into K.Willās songs a few weeks ago). I have yet to look for any songs by 1TYM but I love watching āDanny From LAā on YouTube.
I was a fan of Epik High since the time I saw them on one of Infiniteās TV shows (You Are My Oppa) due to the fact that they helped Infinite (vocal training, dancing, all kinds of training) before Infiniteās debut and before Epik High left Woollim Ent.
Recently Iāve been loving Infinite Hās āYouāre F*cking Crazyā and Iām trying to find more songs like it.

Oh okay we have the same tastes then Iāve been into Mamamoo and Ft island recently (even been to their concert xD awesome!) Oh and also I love Junsu (JYJ) his solos are pretty awesome too, such as Flower with Tablo <3 heartbreaking lyrics as alwaysā¦
I listened to Junsuās Flower and a couple of his other solos a while back. It was amazing! And Tablo is someone I really look up to. Did you know he got kicked out of orchestra in high school for suddenly playing the soundtrack of Jurassic Park on his violin while the orchestra was playing Brandenburg Concerto No.3 at a concert? He is just pure awesomeness.
Iāve been so upset over JYJās situation. Junsu is king and always will be. And nothing will stop JYJ from being as amazing as they are, not even SM.
Iām so jealous of you right now. I would love love love to meet Honki. FTIsland and CNBlue is life.
But my current life goal is to go to an Infinite concert (hardcore Inspirit right here). Iāve seen how amazing they are live, so I want my first kpop concert experience to be amazing. After that I want to go to a CNBlue or FTIsland concert and hopefully a couple BTS and other ones as well.
gives fandom hug and throws Namu hearts
EXO and INFINITE
You should watch the radio show Kpop Planet, itās with Lee Jaejin (Ft Island), Hyunsik (BTOB) and Hwa Sa (Mamamoo). They sing a lot, itās nice.
Oo I didnāt know that about Tablo, awesome!! He never fails to impress me <3
I donāt know if youāve seen Junsu first comeback on korean television in 6 years. A few days ago he appeared on ebs; here is the link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQImmiuXJMI This literally broke my heart :ā( Youāll see why.
And about the ft Island concert in Paris, it was my first concert and it was justā¦ magic here look at the crowd singing <3 Hongki almost cried https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zlcoq-GPIUw Iāve also been to Block bās concert a while after but it was soo short that I didnāt have the time to enjoy, thatās why I prefered the ft Islandās one.
I donāt know much about infinite though, Iām going to make some researches^^
Of course I watch this!!! Love their interactions, I kept hoping Jaejin would choose Hwasa instead of saying he likes Red Velvet ^^ Iām still so proud of them, And I was happy to discover Hyunsik oppa. I love them all. <3 Are you a fellow MooMoo and primadonna ?
Iām more a Boice but in reality I love all the artists of FNC
And the group Mamamoo is really great ! Lee Jonghyun of Cn Blue played in their first MV and now Lee Jaejin has a radio with her
And I discover Hyunsik too because he is discrete in his group.
Iām a boice too but since Iāve seen Ft Island in concert, they were so amazing that I couldnāt help but become a primadonnaā¦ they were way more rock than I expected and Hongki almost cried when he heard the crowd singing along with him during severly. This moment was magic, really <3
I wanted to see them in Paris. But I couldnāt. I saw Cn Blue in London and it was great too. Cn Blue or Ft Island are group that you must see in live to appreciate all their talent. The TV show where they canāt play are not good.
