It’s genuinely so ridiculous we are debating over STICKERS when we used to get a really good quality gifts.

I am not debating. I was wondering if the stickers were sent out yet. Cuz I have not received mine yet.
It was nice that Viki gave quarterly gifts. I saw all the delivery problems people had receiving international shipments and the unexpectedly high duty fees, so I can see why Viki stopped sending out products.
We are volunteers, and most of us have never had a chance to get into the top 100 anyway. Out of the hundreds of active volunteers, the quarterly gifts only went to 100 people. Many volunteers did not have the time or the opportunity to join enough teams, so they never even had a chance to get into the top 100. and that inability to get into the top 100 did hurt many people’s feelings.
Our more valuable benefit is the subscription we earn through our volunteer activities. It is a token of appreciation. Because if we converted it to cash value, it is way below the minimum wage. 
I don’t know how others feel, but I LOVE these shows. I am not fluent, but I have learned enough Korean and Mandarin to be a good segmenter. Without segmenting, no one can write subtitles. And we write subtitles so people who lack fluency can enjoy these shows. Helping others enjoy shows via the work we do in segmenting and translating subtitles is our true value.

I want my stickers, I even have a Viki sticker on my phone (Ok, that one is because I couldn’t find it and wanted something that made it visible). I’m grateful for everything Viki has given me as a volunteer no matter what it is. It’s the thought that counts.
And who doesnt love segmenting, its the best thing on Viki not counting the teams and shows I enjoy whilst QCing.

Hello Contributors! A quick update: we are working to send out the year-end QC gift the week of April 6th! We appreciate everyone’s patience—the gift turned out to be a lot more work for one person than anticipated. 
As a reminder, this will be sent through the United States Postal Service (USPS) so no international or custom fees will be incurred.

Could the gift arrive with DHL? Or does it stay UPS?
This is a very unpleasant surprise! I just joined as a subber, because I see ads to contribute all the time, and it sounded really interesting and fun. Why run the ads if the people won’t be needed? 
Don’t get discouraged yet. So far, there have not been any presubs in your language and even if there will be Bulgarian presubs someday, you can still contribute by editing them. Apart from that, there are also other things to do on Viki, like segmenting or English editing (if your English is good enough).
It is true that a whole lot has changed on Viki over the years and not always for the best but so far, we are still here and we adept. We don’t know what the future holds and maybe even Viki doesn’t so just enjoy it for now.
