Introduce yourself :)

That is pretty far from Canada. How long will he be there? Bollywood is not so bad. I’ve sat through more than my fair share.

Cuttack in Orissa which has now been re named Odisha I believe one of the hottest and poorest states in India there :’( I was very naive in thinking I could adjut to life there. One day we are going to write a book about What NOT to do when marrying a foreigner!! :stuck_out_tongue: Past 6 years of waiting could of been cut down by half but you live and learn…and it could be longer if he’s not here by Dec so yeah I watch ALOT of dramas!!!

He is Indian then? I am just asking cause I am Indian. Hope you don’t mind. But I am from the North actually from Delhi which is the capital of the country and a big metropolitan city. Oh! I am sorry, I hope you see him in Dec. I can understand how hard it can be :frowning:

Yuppers I converted so we could have as traditional as we could in a day a Hindu wedding LOL as you know they are usually a week which we had to have several compromises over!! And NOT have our wedding on BOXING DAY just because the astrologer said that day was good -_- yeah love my mother in law and all but…ROFLMFAO!!!

You did? wow! ROFL…yeah I know all about the week long hullabaloo at the indian weddings. ^o^ Boxing Day? What is that? This is my first time hearing such a thing. I come from like a non-traditional sect of hinduism so there are like many Hindu customs that are not done in my home…yep! We are the modern ppl…LMAOOO…I can just imagine abt ur MIL kekekeke ;D

Yeah the original date that they wanted was Dec 26…I was you want us to get married the day after Christmas and our Anniversary on Boxing Day ohhhhhhhhhhhhh HELL NO!!! LOL His family is very traditional is some ways but majority are love marriage and his Uncle is married to an Australian so that helped ALOT in them accepting me. But yeah the ritual of the blessing of wedding invites by 7 married women of the family before they could be sent out and whole lot of other things were actually pretty cool though I couldn’t understand a word most of them said!!! Kinda like me watching dramas with no subs XD

ROFL…I am laughing so hard! it is like a drama with NO subs  There are some things which are cool…What is this Boxing day? There are also a lot of traditions which are in the south which do not happen in the north so maybe that’s also why i do not know

Gosh you talking about Twilight makes me so sad inside. I miss it so much!! I used to be one of the first people to get into the Cinema to watch it…haha…not ashamed

I would have so gone for Jacob…Just saying!!!

The Astrologer did whatever it is they do ( my mind immediately goes to the grandmother and mother in Love Now but I don’t think that is how it is done!! :D) IDK his date of birth my date of birth the times of them were all needed to come up with good omen dates and Dec 26 was the closest one they don’t have boxing day over there like here Christmas isn’t celebrated by his family either so to them it was just another day… me on the other hand I’l be honest I turned in Bridezilla!!!:stuck_out_tongue:

I would love to help out translating Chinese to English!
