When I was subtitling a drama and wanted to put a < br> in an empty segment, it said: ‘Subtitle content cannot be only HTMlL tags’. What does that mean? And how can I still at < br> or < i> , because I’d like to have subs 100% completed. Can someone explain it to me?
It’s probably a deterrent to stop people from increasing their sub count without actually subbing anything.
I don’t know what the exact situation is for you, but if there are unnecessary segments (i.e. nothing to be translated), then you should just have a segmenter delete those segments.
I saw that. Sometimes, when translating, I disagree with English translators about translating to my language ie. names of the hospitals absolutely every time they appear.
But the message doesn’t matter, because you still get a full 100% of translation completed.
Well they do say something in the segments, but it are words like ‘oh’, ‘eh’ ‘yes’ ‘ok’, which don’t necesarrily need to be translated I think.
Allright, I got 99% at the end of the completed episode, but that’s still enough.
i used to use italic tag (openig and closing) with a “space” in the midle of it…
I tried it and it seems to work. Thank you.
