Subtitle Editor error message

Hi, everyone.

I messaged a moderator to be added to the team of a variety show to subtitle. They wrote back and said that I was added. However, when I open an episode and click on the pencil below the episode to try to open the Subtitle Editor, I get a 404 error message. I have tried multiple episodes (including episodes with 0% subtitled and some that have been partially subtitled). Can anyone help me with this? Thank you in advance.

P.S. I have contacted the moderator who added me, but just in case it is something I am doing wrong or that I can fix on my side, I thought I’d ask you all.

It was probably the same for everyone else? Viki has had some problems these last days. Ask the moderator if the other team members who are in your same region could access the Editor normally.

In case you are still unable to go into the Subtitle Editor and you are the only one in your team, then it’s time to contact Viki Support.

I’m having this problem too on 3 of my shows. Can’t get into the subtitle editor and it would bring me to the 404 page. Glad to know I wasn’t the only one. I thought maybe the CM’s had maybe locked the episodes or something.

I had this problem too, but by adding https:// to the link, the problem is solved.

I still have the same problem. Viki didn’t help me yet.

Yes, I did. But it doesn’t work. I still have the same issues. I can’t enter the editor, I can’t see Viki’s homepage, I can’t even enter to manage the videos. I already wrote to the helpcenter. They gave me suggestions that I followed, but that brought me to nothing. I hope that somebody could help me. I start to feel desperate.

Hi,

I love your programming. There is only one thing that is very annoying in the subtitles and that is the constant reminder about who provided the subtitles. I wish you could just tell me in the beginning of the program instead of reminding me every 5 minutes.

I have that problem too ! but , still, after using https:// it doesn’t work… Does someone have another tip ? I have to start as soon as possible my subtiling and I can’t do anything…

Well when you watch movies it will be likely at the beginning and at the end with team credits in detail. The line honors the Team of their elaborate work, segmenting, translation, translation edit and English edit, it’s a whole long process. If you watch a drama each episode will have it at the beginning and at the end for the same purpose if it’s done by a team. Some Kdramas provided by Kocowa that have only English subs aren’t done by a team at Viki.

The team credit shouldn’t be every 5 minutes… if so perhaps contact the English team.
