Hi! I want to help with subtitles. I can help translating from English into German. I would love to help translating a Korean show or movie. Since I have some knowledge about the Korean language, I have a good understanding about formality levels.

Hi everyone ! I am available to help on English to French subtitling.
I am fluent in both. I also have a degree in mandarin chinese. Iām not confident enough to translate mandarin to English, but I understand enough for it to help me in the English to French translation.

To those offering to translate and are completely new as Viki volunteers: please remember that you should absolutely complete at least one āexample videoā, otherwise it will be impossible to see if you can āqualifyā to translate this or that drama (some are more difficult than others and other specificities: we need to see how you translate, and if thatās ok for this more simple drama, or maybe this more difficult one).
If I remember well, youāll be able to find a few example videos from your Dashboard (Viki Contributor Community).
Also, when offering your help, please make sure that there is at least one āexample videoā in your profile showing a translation into the language for which you are applying here. I just saw several examples where people offered to translate in one language, there was an example video in their profileā¦ but that example video was in a completely different language.

If you look further up in this thread, not long ago, thereās a reply to another Hindi speaker, with a list of Hindi moderators to write to. Moderators are the ones who are responsible for the translation of a project in a specific language, itās they who choose the translation team, so you should write to them a personal message, both in Hindi and in English (to show your proficiency in both languages) asking whether they have any project they need help with, or, if not, to keep you in mind for future ones.
