Science Fiction. Asimov, Bradbury, Heinlen, Bear, Farmer, etc. There are so many. I can’t think of all their names right now.

What is your favorite Bradbury?

OMG! I can’t even remember the name. It was a short story. About someone left all alone on a planet. They waited and waited for someone to come and get them. In despair, he sat there at the spaceport, waiting and waiting. In the end, years, and years later a ship finally came. It took awhile for the lost one to recognize rescue was there. It wasn’t until the ship lifted off that they finally energized enough to give chase. His soul burst from his body and chased the ship.
(He had died and his soul had been stuck there all those years, waiting.)

SciFi isn’t just technology. It’s also Psych and sociaL studies. … ‘what if…’
