Segmentation: it’s impossible to find a project before graduation, so wait that you pass the segmenting exam before looking for a project. Once you graduate, contact the Chief segmenter and/or the Channel Manager.

Translation, Edition, Transcription: the following paragraph might help you to find a project to start.

1 - Explore the website to find what interests you:

On-air channels

Coming soon channels (they might not arrive right away on Viki)

Explore channels

Normally, recent and on-air dramas need help, so it might be better to check there first, but teams might be full really quick if it’s a popular language and show.

Once you find your show, check the "Subtitle team" tab and scroll down to see the long picture where the team puts whether they recruit or not for the job and the language you’re interested in ([Recruiting] / [Recruitment Closed]).

Ex of a team recruiting Korean-English subtitlers:

Subtitlers and ■■■■■■■■■■■■: pick dramas not fully subtitled or transcribed in your language. You can check the subtitling % on the Episodes tab.

2 - Post on the forum by answering to a recruitment announcement or create your own post if it doesn’t already exist: https://discussions.viki.com/

Specify the role you want to do (translator…), the languages you want to subtitle from X to Y, your fluency and anything relevant for a recruiter (translating experience, availability…).
