Archived Contributions Update :

Please note that as part of the continued Contribution Count System improvements that we first shared in June here , the “snapshot” view of contributions before June 2021 will be archived soon. In other words, video-related information on your profile’s Project Contributions page will only display for contributions after June 2021. Rest assured this does NOT mean your past contributions before that will be removed!

Contributions on and after June 2021 (when the improved contribution count system launched) will continue to be logged and displayed regularly on Recent Contributions.

Was this thing stopped halfway? Half a year passed and no news about it??

This was fully implemented. Contribution field was reset in June. In the transitional period one could see contributions made before June by clicking the link they provided. After some time this link disappeared and now only contributions after June 2021 are visible.

I was talking about this –

Frame 3 will be removed. Frame 1 and 2 will remain.

Or am I just confused?

I am not getting this timeline. They removed the function in March 2021, volunteers complained about the removal. So they brought back the function in May 2021. Now in Jan 2022, they say they’ll remove it again but use the word “soon.” This “soon” hasn’t arrived yet, even after 6 months.
