Hello,

I am a recent graduate of Yonsei Universityā€™s Korean Language Institute. I am here to volunteer for KR-EN translations. I was the class representative, delivered the graduation speech, and have tested advanced level 5 on TOPIK.

It would be convenient if subtitles in Korean were provided, but not necessary. I hope to be considered.

Iā€™d love to help out. Are there Korean subtitles for any of the shows? I noticed that hardly any Korean shows actually have the Korean subtitles in order to help translators in other languages.

Hi!
I can segment and do subtitles from English to Chinese (or Chinese to English). I can also do some subbing from English to Spanish or Chinese to Spanish, if anyone needs help with that.

Hi -

I guess the biggest question is are you interested in working with really challenging historical dramas - I have one that could use another really fluent subber, Mandarin to English - and itā€™s Ming Dynasty.

If you are interested, please have a look at ā€œA Swordsman in the Wildernessā€ - and contact me if you would like to give this one a try. Historical dramas are pretty tough but really cool :slight_smile: and well, not for everyone.

As for segmenting - we do require a diploma from the segmenting academies here at Viki - but we could audition you if you came in with a good skill set from other work in the real world. :). (We audition everybody, by the way - so that we donā€™t get any surprises when we go to edit an episode for release!).
