how did you come to learn Arabic?

edit : i think because you’re from moroccan ?

 meeee too!!

btw, you listed a ton of native languages… at what age did you start speaking?

Well, I can speak:

  • Romanian (native)
  • Spanish (fluent)
  • English (more or less fluent)
  • French (intermediate)

And I’d love to learn:

  • Korean
  • Russian
  • Hindi

haha

hmmm thats a good question…I think about after I turned one… but just easy words like mom and daddy. But my first word was ā€œkeyā€ But I don’t know when I first spoke it… I have to ask my mom when she gets back from her holidays ;D

At which age did you start speaking?

Hahah thank you. I really love to learn new languages and take every opportunity I have.

Yeah. Well moroccan is completely different from arabic. We have a mix between french and arabic. When I was little my mum sent my to a school where I learnt to write, read and speak arabic. But I forgot a lot at speaking as I didn’t knew many people in my age speaking arabic.

Actually, I don’t know, but I asked because I’ve heard that a lot of children with lots of language input don’t talk until much later than others.

Ah okay, didn’t know that. I will ask and write you back later ;D
I read that a man studies like over 60 languages. When he was little everyone is his family spoke in another languages so at the age of 10 he could already speak 10 languages.

Ah, you already know most of the popular ones. How’d you learn the extra languages you know already?

Either alone or at school ^^ I used to live in switzerland so I learned german there.
Then I moved to Korea when I was 10. And that’'s how I know Korean.
In korea the 2nd language that I took at school was Chinese, so I’m learning it since I’m 11 or so.
Then I learned English by myself because Korea is NOT the place where I could learn English and become fluent.
But since last year my English teacher at school is Canadian so I’ve been able to learn more properly the language.
I continued to study German when I transfered School…
And I want to become an Interprete (?) so I have to know 7 languages.
